COVINGTON — Frances Mae Hack, 60, formerly of Veedersburg, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, in a house trailer fire. She was born Oct. 27, 1939 in Fountain County, she was adopted by Walter and Bertha Branaman Willard. Her first marriage was to Leo Stewart in Dyer. He preceded in death. Her second marriage was to Elmer Hack. She graduated from Osceola High School, Kissimmee, Fla. She was a certified nurses aid and during her working years had been employed by Covington Manor Nursing Home and Ben Hur and Houston Home Health Care in Crawfordsville. Survivors include: her mother of Veedersburg; a son, William (Nancy) Stewart, Danville, Ill.; and a grandson, Lance. The body was cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Dickerson Funeral Home; Veedersburg, is in charge of arrangements. – jlr
